So you're ready to tune your vehicle, and one of our tuning specialists notified you that your application requires the interface of a wideband O2 sensor. You've order the gauge and adapter (hopefully of our site) and now you're ready to go. But what do you do?
You look at the manuals, and it looks like this:
SCT Analog Input with AEM Series X UEGO:
HPTuners Pro Link with AEM Series X UEGO:
So where do you go from here?
At Ortiz Performance, we want to make things as easy as possible, so simply wire your two harnesses in this fashion, and you'll be up and running in no time:
SCT Analog Input:
* AEM Wideband Formula in Air Fuel Ratio = (2.3750 * Volts) + 7.3125
* AEM Wideband Formula in Lambda = (0.1621 * Volts) + 0.4990
* If you have any ground offsets, add or subtract them from the voltage (v). For example, for a .125 voltage offset, (2.3750 * (Volts - 0.125)) + 7.3125. Your gauge should match the reading on the Tuner/LiveLink exactly.
SCT How-To from Derive Systems:
HPTuners Pro Link:
*NOTE* In VCM Scanner go to External Inputs > MPVI2 > Pro Link, you will then be able to add the PID “MPVI2 SP A/D Input 1” or “MPVI2 SP A/D Input 2.”
